Hanoi - Halong Bay -
Hue - Hoi An - Nha Trang and Saigon 12 days - 11 nights
Join us on this wonderful trip to
Vietnam, this Vietnam featured tour will take us the
countryside, soak in the culture and learn the history
of this amazing country. Starting in the capital, Hanoi,
and finishing in bustling Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City),
this trip takes to the scenic highlights of both the
north and the south. We will cruise around beautiful
Halong Bay, visit the ‘Imperial City” of Hue, unwind in
the historic town of Hoi An, soak up the sun in
beachside Nha Trang, before heading for the exciting
city of Saigon, an electrifying experience. This is a
Vietnam featured tour that encompasses the main
attractions and more, allowing you to get under the skin
of this amazing country and its people.
Day 01: Hanoi ( Arrival)(Welcome dinner)
On arrival in Hanoi transfer to your
hotel. You meet your tour leader here who will organise
a pre-trip briefing, also you have the opportunity to
meet your fellow travellers before a short walk to the
epicentre of old Hanoi, Hoan Kiem Lake and Jade Hill.
This enchanting body of water is one of Hanoi’s main
attractions. We will then enjoy a Welcome dinner and the
taste of Vietnam in one of the many local restaurants.

Day 02: Hanoi – Halong (B, L, D)
An early start this morning for our
private bus transfer to the unmatched Halong Bay. Here
we take a spectacular boat journey (private boat)
through the breath-taking scenery of the 2000 limestone
islands that have made Halong Bay. This World Heritage
site is an essential experience. Here we will visit the
families that call Halong Bays bamboo-thatched boats
home, before enjoying a fantastic Seafood lunch and a
swim in the beautiful tropical waters.
After lunch we will visit Sung-Sot-Grotto, Ti Tov
mountain and enjoy a row boat ride among the limestone
karsts. This evening we enjoy the spectacular
peacefulness of Halong Bay from the comfort of a Junk,
(double twin
room WC/Bathroom,
A/C).

Day 03: Halong – Hanoi (B, L)
After breakfast we will say goodbye to
our crew, before joining the bus for our trip back to
Hanoi. We will have lunch at one of many restaurants in
Hanoi. The afternoon is free to enjoy this wonderful
city before meeting up to enjoying a water puppet show
before dinner.

Day 04: Hanoi (City Highlight) – Overnigt
train to Hue (B, L)
Today our Vietnam featured tour will take
us to the Historical sites of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh
Mausoleum, Uncle Ho’s house, the One-Column-Pagoda (Chua
mot cot), the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu, Vietnam’s
first university) and the Maison Central (a prison
dating back to the French colony).
We will stop for lunch at KOTO, a
restaurant managed by former street kids.
In the afternoon we have time to explore
the French Quarter, before an early dinner then our
over-night train to Hue.

Day 05:Hue (Cyclo tour to Citadel, Dong
Ba Market, Royal Dinner) (B, L, D)

After arrival and transfer to our hotel,
we will take a Cyclo ride to our lunch spot and the
colourful market that is well-known for its Cai Non,
Vietnamese cone hats. Later in the afternoon we take a
tour to the Forbidden Imperial City, and visit the
partly renovated Citadel. This was the emperor’s
residence from 1802 until 1945. Although the most of the
old Imperial City was bombed during the Tet Offensive in
1968, a visit is most worthwhile.
Tonight we will enjoy a traditional
Imperial dinner at the famous Royal Park Restaurant.

Day 06: Hue (Boat trip on Perfume River
to Thien Mu Pagoda, Minh Mang Tomb then Countryside tour
by van or motorbike) (B, L)
Today we discover Hue’s most romantic
side. A Boat trip on the Perfume River to the Thien Mu
Pagoda, the city’s oldest pagoda. After lunch on board,
we visit the palace-like tomb of Emperor Minh Mang
(second emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty) and then join the
van or motorbikes (if you wish) to Khai Dinh tomb (last
Emperor to be acknowledged by the Republican
Government).
Our trusted Honda guides or van driver
will then take us on an unforgettable tour to the
Japanese Wood Bridge, a local market, and a wonderful
tour through the green rice paddies - time seems to
stand still here.

Day 07: Hue – Hoi An (B, L)
Today we will enjoy a stunning bus trip
over the Cloud Pass to Danang, Hoi An. We will stop at
Marble Mountains to enjoy the brilliant views of the
four other Marble Mountains and China Beach, before we
make our way to the Chinese-Japanese port town of Hoi
An.

Day 08: Hoi An ( Walking tour of the Old
Quarter + Boat trip to Carpenter Village. (B, L)
Exploring the old historic center on
foot, we will visit the Japanese Bridge, merchants’
houses from the 16th and 18th century, Chinese temples
and communal houses. After a short lunch break, we board
a boat on the Thu Bon River, where we will visit Kim
Bong Island and see the local craftsman at work.

Day 09: Hoi An – Nha Trang (City
Highlight + Mud bath) (B, L)
After breakfast, we will take a bus to
Danang International Airport for our flight to Nha Trang.
After transfer and check in why not enjoy a swim at the
29th most beautiful bay of the world, Nha Trang Beach.
In the afternoon a bus will take us to the Thap Ba Hot
Spring Center.
Now, it is a great time for you to enjoy
soaking in the nutrient-rich mud baths.

Day 10: Nha Trang (Boat trip) (B, L)
Today we will enjoy an Island hopping
boat tour cruising the majestic waters of Nha Trang Bay.
We will also enjoy a fresh seafood for lunch on board,
before being transferred back to our hotel mid
afternoon.

Day 11:
Nha Trang River Cruise
– Overnight train to Saigon (B, L)

foot, we will visit Notre Dam Cathedral, Main Post
Office, City Hall and Ben Thanh Market.
We have lunch at Com Tam Saigon (Broken
Rice Restaurant).
Tonight we have a Farewell Party on the
cruise on the Saigon River.
